Even though there is a penalty for driving without insurance on the roads of America , many people ignore this and drive anyway. They believe that just because they are having  money problems that the risks of driving without car insurance are worth it. The truth of the matter is that it is never a good idea to drive without being properly insured. You never know when an accident could happen and it is never a good idea to be unprepared.

If you’ve ever been into an accident you know the value of having car insurance. The whole reason behind this type of insurance is to protect you from financial catastrophe. Nobody ever really wants to have to use their car insurance, but in the worst case scenario and you have to, it is a real blessing that it’s there. I can’t think of anything much worse than to get into accident and not having car insurance to cover my butt. You should never ever try to save money by not paying your car insurance premiums. On the other hand if you were carrying the proper coverage all of your expenses would be paid under the personal liability part of your policy. All it takes is one disaster to happen and you, when you don’t have the right insurance coverage and you could be devastated for life financially. The cost of car insurance is really insignificant in comparison with the financial loss you could sustain just from one simple accident.

If you get into an accident without being covered and another driver’s involved, you could leave that other driver without the ability to have their bills covered. They are the cause of an accident it is your insurances responsibility to cover all of the damages. Without being covered properly by insurance you could become liable for all the damage that occurred to the other person’s vehicle as well as the medical expenses. As you can see this would destroy your life.

Another good reason to have car insurance is not only if you are involved in an accident, but if your car is stolen and the insurance company will reimburse you with the finances to replace your vehicle. Without this insurance you would hold all the responsibility for replacing it yourself. And it goes without saying if you don’t have the money to replace your car you would be left walking. This could make it extremely difficult getting to and from work, which in the long run will end up costing you a lot more money than just simply buying car insurance.

It is a known fact, and I believe everybody by now realizes this, that it is indeed illegal to drive without car insurance. It is also a fact that there are penalties for driving without car insurance that you will have to to face if you’re caught. One of the penalties involved is losing your drivers license. And if you didn’t know there is a high risk category that you will be placed in if you ever go to look for car insurance again. Being in this high-risk category will cause rates to be higher. As you can see it’s all lose situation when you are not properly covered.

You need to understand that when you are driving your car without insurance you are breaking the law. This is likely to cost a lot more money than car insurance ever could. The risks of getting into an accident and not being properly covered are just to extreme to take in to chance. Just one car accident could put you in a position where you owe more money for your own bills, but not only that, you’ll be in debt to the other person and responsible for all their bills as well.

I hope that you can see now that the penalties for driving without insurance are just too extreme to take. Take my advice, if you don’t have car insurance and you’re driving. Stop!!!! The penalty for driving without car insurance is just not worth.
